Believe it or not, more vampires are on the loose.
Diora Baird, Harold Perrineau, Kiele Sanchez, Rhys Coiro and Mia Kirshner will star in "30 Days of Night: Dark Days," the sequel to the David Slade-directed 2007 horror film about an Alaska town besieged by bloodsuckers.
Newcomer Ben Ketai is directing the follow-up, which he wrote with Steve Niles, the co-creator of the original graphic novel series on which the films are based. Sony's Stage 6 Films and Ghost House Pictures are producing the project.
Principal photography has begun in Vancouver.
Baird, Perrineau and Coiro will play vampire hunters who recruit Sanchez to help them seek revenge on the vampire queen played by Kirshner, who is responsible for the decimation of their town.
Baird, repped by APA and Luber Roklin, will next star in the horror parody "Stan Helsing."
The APA-repped Perrineau starred on the ABC series "Lost" and appeared in the films "The Matrix Revolutions" and "The Best Man."
Sanchez, repped by Gersh and Artistry Management, last appeared in "A Perfect Getaway."
Coiro, repped by CAA and Luber Roklin, will next appear in Screen Gems' "Straw Dogs" remake.
Kirshner, repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, starred on Showtime's "The L Word" and in the feature "The Black Dahlia."
Ghost House most recently released "Drag Me to Hell," co-written and directed by Sam Raimi.
