The trailer for "Clash of the Titans," Warner Bros. and Legendary's remake of the 1981 film, hit the Net this afternoon. It's cut faster than a sting swipe from a giant scorpion, has a thumping rousing orchestral rock score and does a good job of teasing the movie. I found myself trying to see what Greek myth creatures were there to be seen, liking the expansive scenery, which grounds the movie in a solid world in a way that the "Prince of Persia" trailer didn't.
A glimpse of Medusa? Check. An angry Liam Neeson as Zeus? Check. What looks like vigorous lovemaking? Check. Now it's up to Sam Worthington to make us believe he is Perseus.
"One day, somebody is going to have make a stand. One day, somebody got to say enough."

I really wish they went with a director that had a clue about STORY. From this it looks like another flashy action flick/video game tie in. The original is such a classic. Really hope this doesn't fail.

This is one of the nicest movies released this year. I've already watched this myself and it did not fail my expectations.

Now after seeing the trailer I have to say I am quite happy I didn't go to the cinema to see this movie. Maybe I'll watch it one day on dvd or something but still don't expect much.
