Well, I don't see how you cóuld get any more realistic than say, Terminator, for it's all speculation. I mean, unless he's psychic or something. Now thát would make a good film. Why hasn't anyone asked a loony with intense visions of the future to make a film? I'd see it.

If the movie has nothing else going for it other than being scripted by a person with robotics credentials, its going to flop.

I, Robot already covered the basics of how robotics/AI may go haywire despite Asimov's Three Laws, so you need something else than understanding of how robotic society works to make moviegoers come and pay to see a film.
