Many big budget films require reshoots at some point in the post-production process because only in editing does the director realise that he might be missing something he desperately needs within the narrative. It's a normal part of the filmmaking process.

cool I guess. I really like Francis Lawrence. I Am Legend blew, but not because he wasn't on the ball. And I think Constantine is a super stylish fantasy flick with horror themes.

the plot of this movie is just plain stupid.lol
just because something is a comic does not mean you have to turn it into a movie. As genuis Mr. Cameron once said Hollywood is now reaching to the bottom of the comic book barrel. They are turning to D list comics for revenue. Sad, sad, sad. Just sad. And funny.

("Crank" filmmakers Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who wrote the "Hex" script, were initially on board to direct the movie back in its early stages but were dismissed because of creative differences with Brolin. Brolin told MTV News at the time he thought the script was "awful" but fell in love with the challenge of doing "the most awful movie I can find" if he could put the people he wanted into key positions.)

A script was saved onto my memory card last year. The memory card was lost last year around November. The script read:Setting: Notch at a bar (in the present time) having a drink by himself.

Narration: Everyone has a dark side. Most keep it at bay. Some gather trinkets.

A rich couple walk by notch the wife wearing diamonds and the husband checks his gold pocket watch.

Narration: Some turn to lust.

A whore gives Notch “the eye” as she leads a man up the steps while holding his hand to a room to do her services.

Narrator: I sit in the same pub and drink the same filthy whisky served by the same filthy whore. Now others you may find they drink and it unleashes a beast within.

A fight breaks loose with a huge low life pirate and another medium sized pirate.

Narration: For me the booze only numbs it. Truth be there’s a monster inside me. A monster that feasts on much more than cheap ale and the regular wench. My beast feeds on blood.

A whore offers her services to Notch but he only replies with a ice cold stare through his one steel gray eye.

Whore: Well if you need anything I’ll be around.

The whore then walks away. In walks a low life pirate and 3 of his mates.

Pirate: Hey wench four ales!

Notch grins and has a flashback of his childhood memory.

Setting: Cold damp cabin on the side of the coast. In the centre of the cabin there is a boiling pot of fire with a skew in it. The mood is nervous and hostile.

In this scene: Jake/Notch, his father Captain Christopher Cutthroat (Once the most ruthless pirates of all time but now is getting older/more frail), two of the captains crew members, Jakes childhood friend Gale, Captain James E Black and 10 of his men.

In walks Jake and Gale and immediately Gale is struck to the ground by one of Captain Cutthroats men then both tear open Jakes shirt and grip Jakes’ arms.

Jake: RUN GALE RUN!

Gale panics and darts underneath Jakes small bunk. Captain Cutthroat (Jakes father) then presses a hot skew into his son Jakes’ chest. The father then begins to shatter the skew against an iron stone destroying it’s already oddly shape. Jake is released and he runs into the corner of the room covering his body with a loose fitting shirt. The captain then takes the dismantled skew and penetrates one of the crews throat as he simultaneously shoots his other crew member in the head. He then takes an old withered piece of paper, carefully tears it in half and frantically throws half of it into the fire.

Jake: Papa papa, why? Why did you do this to me?
Captain: Remember what I’ve always taught ye son, trust no man that has something to lose. And may your wenches be plenty as you pillage more than twenty. Take this boy he hands Jake his Dagger and the half of the paper.

The captain hands Jake his Dagger.

Captain: That blade has taken the lives of all who has got in my way. And only you and that scroll hold the whereabouts to the cutthroat treasure.

Jake makes his way under his single bunk only to remember that Gale is under there and is taking up most of the already small space. As Jake turns to find another hiding spot the door is broken down and in walks Captain James E. Black with his ten men.

Captain Black: Where be the treasure old man??
Captain Cutthroat: In yer mothers undergarments.

Captain Black then has a few of his men approach Cutthroat but he slices one of their throats with his sword and stabs the other one in his chest. The remainder of Blacks men then rush Cutthroat and apprehend him.

Captain Black: I’ll ask ye one more time. Where’s the treasure!!!??

Captain Black then holds his single shot to Cutthroats head. Notch/Jake panics runs toward Black with the map tightly clenched in his fist, and stabs Black in the leg with his fathers dagger.

Captain Cutthroat: Boy No!!!

Captain black pulls out the dagger grabs the boy and holds the dagger up to Jakes eye.

Captain Black: The treasure Cutthroat or yer boy will be suited for street fool begging for trinkets.

Captain Cutthroat: I hope the devil himself dances in yer dreams till you meet em in davey jones’ locker.

Captain black then vertically slices out the eye of Notch/Jake and notices the map in Notches/Jakes hand. He then takes the map out of the injured/passed out boys hand and throws him to the ground.

Captain Black: Kill him and burn the remains.

Jake short term regains consciousness only to see his father being killed through his one eye. Black then approaches with a dirty smile. Jake just has enough time to see Blacks Skull encrusted gold tooth before black kicks Jake in the head unconscious. Black and his men then set the cabin a fire and flee to their ship. As Black and his men flee Gale runs to Jakes/Notches aid. She tremendously struggles as she drags Jake/Notch out of the Cabin through the back entrance out of sight of Black and his men. Gale then begins to cry over Jakes chest.

Gale: JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!

*Flash back to present*

One of the four pirates take Notches regular whore upstairs and only moments later.

Regular whore: I told you, you can’t have none without money.

Pirate with whore: Stupid whore!

The pirate then slaps her and throws her into the room upstairs.

Narrator: You would think that I should do something me being the wenches number one customer. But that’s not the blood that I seek. I only seek the blood of who took my fathers life and at the same time honoring my fathers blade by using it to kill all who get in my way. Oh and there’s the ritual and reason why they me Notch.

Wench behind the bar/bartender: That’ll be 4 dockets boys and tell your man to leave take it easy with Eva.

One of the pirates down his beer.

Pirate: By the skull on Captains Blacks tooth I will do no such thing! Now pour me another beer wench!

He then throws five dockets at her.

Narrator: With not a name I left my home and for fifteen years I’ve searched for the man who took my fathers life. Could it be?

Jake/Notch: Where might I find this Captain Black?

Pirate#1/beer drinker: har har har har… Hear that men this here lad wants to find Captain Black!

All the pirates then begin to laugh.

Pirate #1: Well there patch (looking at the Notches eye patch) even if ye found Black you wouldn’t be alive to talk about it. He’s got a crew of over a hundred men and 5 ships! The British pay Black just to stay off their shores!

Jake/Notch: Sounds like a coward to me.

Pirate #1: Maybe you need to be taught some manners!

The pirate takes a swing at Notch. Notch then takes the half empty whisky bottle in front of him smashes it off the bar and shoves into the neck of the pirate. The other two at the bar then charge him as Notch stabs one in the throat and the other in the heart. The bar begins to clear out and the British army is summoned by bell. But before Notch leaves he does his ritual. You know the reason the call him Notch. He takes his fathers dagger and Notches out the left eye of his three victims and leaves them there to rot. As he notches out the eye of the third victim out walks the 4th pirate from pillaging the whore upstairs. Notch rushes him and pins him to the steps.

Notch: Now you’re going to tell me where I can find Captain Black.

Pirate#4: You’re going to have to kill me, because if you don’t he will. And I would rather die 1000 deaths than to be tortured at the hands of Black.

Narrator: If I can’t go to Black I’m going to make him come to me!

Notch then cuts out the left eye of Pirate #4.

Notch: You tell Black that Notch Cutthroat is looking for him.

Notch then let the pirate go as he hastily runs out of the pub. Knowing that piracy was illegal in the township of Trenton he knew he had to get out fast. But first he ran to check on Eva. Eva laid there torn clothes her breast exposed and beaten to almost her last breath. Notch had to think fast so he took Eva with him to bring her to health.

(Eva turns out to be gales sister. Gale runs a hardcore whore house in a dangerous city that not even the British would dare step foot in. With no where else to go Notch takes her there to nurse her back to health and that’s where the rekindling love happens again. Eva then whores again back in Trenton only to be captured by blacks men… Her parts are then chopped and delivered to Gale until gale gives up the whereabouts of Notch etc…

Who were the writers of the script and were any of them from Ontario, Canada?

It is always good to have someone like the kinds of Francis Lawrence to assist you and give you guidance with his vast experience and highly skilled career in show biz.

Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about information and love learning more on this. If possible, as you gain expertise, It is extremely helpful for me.
would you mind updating your blog with more information?

Thanks for posting such a great news.

Valuable points and very informative.Keep up with this good work.

A movie's cost is very large, so there is not enough capital not to do this
