'Spider-Man 4' release date changed

Boxoffice year 2010 has just begun, but all eyes in Hollywood seem to be on May 2011. On Wednesday, three developments occurred in rapid fire:

-- Sony's "Spider-Man 4" effectively was effectively bounced from its May 6, 2011, slot because of a production delay.

-- Paramount's Marvel comics actioner "Thor" leaped into that slot.

-- Disney finally slotted its "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" for May 20, 2011.

The next question for the 2011 summer slate: Where will "Spidey 4" land once its script woes are sorted out?

I'm not sure why exactly, but I always get a bad vibe when I hear a movie is going to be shot back-to-back with another one. I'm sure there are positive and negative examples of both, but it's just the feeling I get.
Anyway, I would be up for any Spider-man film that doesn't include:
1) A 'misunderstood' villian
2) Mary-Jane being held hostage and in danger at the end.

It seems that David Goyer has been overwhelmed by the superheroes. I mean first Batman and now Superman, but I would like to add is that he is best at this and would be interesting to see what twist does he have in his mind for Superman after an int eresting one for Batman.
