Listed below are links to weblogs that reference 'Avatar' re-release with extra footage coming?:

So far the only films that I think could beat this movie would be Batman 3, Green Lantern or The Avengers. Maybe Captain America.

Only if this extra footage is a naked Na'vi sex with blue female body parts will I go to see this so long movie again

I would certainly like to see the extra footing as it sure is a wonderful film.

Hey thanks i really liked this movie but know its coming with the added scene that is very interesting and ill definitely go and watch it. Ill also inform my friends about this. Thanks for sharing this information. Don't forget to share entertainment news.

Hey I'm a fan of Cameron movies so ain't nothing I can say about that except for: Bring It on Cameron.

Adding only 10-12 minutes of footage for re-release in Imax theaters is probably not going to persuade a lot of people to go see it again if they saw the original theatrical version and later purchased the 1st DVD release. If 3D theaters on the other hand do not suffer from the 170 minute length restriction like Imax then it would be better(and this is just my opinion) to add the entire 40 minutes of footage and show the re-release only in 3D theaters. After watching this film(and I loved it) and hearing about all the extra footage that was left out. I would be much more tempted to go see it with 40 extra minutes added to it than simply 10-12 minutes. I've read about a LOT of footage that was left out from the theatrical version and a pre-release version that was possibly pushing 4 hours in length. I would love to see all this extra footage. It doesn't matter to me if it's Imax or 3D, but I'd like to see all that deleted footage.

Nice! I bet everyone that watched the movie and liked it would agree with me that we can't get enough of Avatar and still want more.

I like to watch movies and play games very much and that is why I like to read articles and blogs also. Avatar is a great movie and it has something different story so that it can attract more people. I like this movie very much and its 3D version is just awesome.

Gee, I walked out of this pile twice when I went to see it. What a load.

I can hear Cameron's ego calling.
